Over the years I have invested in a lot of fitness equipment for the home from weights right through to multi gyms. I have to admit one of the best bit of equipment I have purchased has to be this Pull-Up Bar in 2020. I did purchase one many years ago, but it did not work very well. It kept sliding down the door and at times, just completely coming off due to my weight. It was causing me injuries more than fitness gains.
How Often do we Buy Something
We often buy stuff to use a few times and never use it again, especially when it comes to fitness equipment. This year has seen fantastic growth in the sales of home use gym equipment, especially when went into lock-down in February 2020. Everyone went Krazy for home use gym equipment which left most products sold out and prices increasing due to the huge demand. It was totally mental; it was like everyone was turning their home into a gym. The question I want to ask now, which is several months later, how many of us are still using the equipment that we bought.
Consistency is key
When it comes to fitness-related results consistency is the key, over the last 30 years I have seen many family and friends join gyms or wanting to achieve certain results, and because they thought it was going to happen overnight, they gave up. So before buying any fitness equipment or gym membership ask yourself are you willing to give yourself 6 months to 12 months to see some results because trust me you will not get any results in a few weeks.
Fantastic Pull-Up Bar
This pull-up bar can be used in between 2 walls or in between the doorway. I have been using it in my doorway it was set-up when I bought it, and I have no intention to move it, but you can move it and set it up to lower in the doorway to perform other forms of exercises rather than just Pull-Ups. It has been amazing. I have been using it every day, and I weight 68kg, and it has not moved. It has been absolutely brilliant; it is really helping me in achieving my fitness goals, such as having a six-pack at the age of 43 years old.
No screws or drilling required to put this in place; it only takes a matter of minutes to set-up before you can start using it. It has PVC mats on each side that push against the wood in the door frame, which means it will not cause any damage to your door frame. Please keep in mind that depending on the width of the door frame that you will be using decreases, the maximum weight it can handle. It comes with removable hand grips that can be moved along the bar as well as removed to have them washed every so often.
Can One Bit of Equipment Help
You all must be wondering can a single bit of equipment help you reach your fitness goals. Well, that really depends on your goal; everyone’s goals are different. A pull-up bar along with press-ups, sit-ups and some HIIT cardio can get you great results no matter what your goal is. But like I said before and repeat that it will not happen in a matter of days, it will take weeks and even months, so please be patient and give yourself time.
