It has never been a better time than now to be living a healthy and balanced lifestyle. A lot has happened during this year with the virus spreading across the world like wildfire. Eight months later it is still terrorising us with constant threats of lockdowns taking place in cities and towns around us. Life has been tough so far in 2020 just today Shell has announced 9000 job cuts to their workforce. Yesterday Greggs announced fewer hours or job losses due to the business losing sales on a daily basis.
What have we learned from Covid 19
That health, family, and friends are very important, our busy lifestyles can be changed from running about 14 hours a day to being locked in your house 24 hours a day. We can cook healthy food rather than eating take away five days a week. Home cooking with fresh ingredients is much better than the pre-cooked food we get from some takeaways. looking out for each other, looking out for your neighbours, just reaching out to someone to show you care. We can live a healthy and balanced life around our work and family life.
The Importance of health and wellbeing
It does not matter if you are old or young, living a healthy lifestyle is very important to protect yourself from a lot of illnesses, viruses, and pandemics. 2020 will be remembered for all the wrong reasons but a lot of positive has come out of COVID 19 pandemic. Eating healthy and doing exercise should not be a choice but be done every day without a virus forcing us to make changes.
